For International Visitors
Three themed cafés, one group: Idol (Linaria) / Gothic "Jirai-kei" (I's Melty) / Classic Maid (Lily Maid). Open from 18:00, a 5–8 minute walk from Sannomiya Station.
How It Works
A "concept café" (kon-kafe) is a Japanese café & bar where costumed staff — called casts — chat with you while you enjoy drinks. Here is all you need to know.
Just walk in — no reservation needed. The cover charge is for 1 hour of seating and includes 1 drink. Feel free to tell the staff it's your first visit.
Choose an all-you-can-drink course (alcohol or soft drinks) and enjoy talking with the casts. They will happily lead the conversation, so don't worry about your Japanese.
If you like, take a cheki (instant photo) with a cast, or buy a drink for your favorite cast. These are completely optional — never required.
Our 3 Cafés
All three cafés share the same price system and are within walking distance of each other — café-hopping is easy.

Idol Concept
A bright space lit with blue neon, where "idols in the rough" welcome you. Perfect if you love Japanese idol culture, cheki photos and cheering for your favorite (oshi).

Gothic × Jirai-kei
A dark & sweet fantasy space in black and pink neon, themed on gothic-lolita and "jirai-kei" (dark-cute) fashion culture. For fans of Japan's yami-kawaii aesthetic.

Classic Maid Cafe
"Welcome home, Master." A classic Japanese maid café with an elegant, friendly atmosphere. Recommended for first-timers, women and couples.
Good To Know
Just drop by. On event days it can get busy, so checking each café's official X (Twitter) beforehand is recommended.
Many guests come alone, and women are very welcome — Lily Maid is especially popular with female guests. Friends, couples and groups are welcome too.
All cafés open at 18:00 and close late (closing time varies by café and day; irregular holidays).
Every café has an all-you-can-drink soft-drink course (Men ¥2,000 / Women ¥1,500 per hour).
Come as you are — casual clothes are fine. You can enjoy a short visit starting from 1 hour.
Cheki photos with the casts are available. For other photography inside the café, please ask the staff.
Access
All three cafés are a 5–8 minute walk from JR Sannomiya Station / Hankyu Kobe-Sannomiya Station, in the Nakayamate-dori area right next to Kobe's main downtown.
